In Pond In Pond programming
physically take place at Pond Art Space, currently in the process of relocating. We expect to re-open the Art Space in May 2003.

This programming includes:

Monthly exhibitions
The curatorial philosophy driving our gallery exhibitions is to promote work with special emphasis on installations, interdisciplinary collaborations, and work that challenges the boundaries of traditional art practice. In addition, we encourage work that engages people beyond traditional art audiences.

Special Events
Special Events showcase a variety of events such as performance, music, film, video, public art, and more. Past special events range from annual screenings of local Bay Area videographers and filmmakers, to music extravanganzas, free pancake breakfasts, community potlucks, and one haircut party. Members of the community are invited to present proposals to use the space!

Zine reading room
Our Zine Library boasts several thousand small press periodicals, self-published zines, alternative publications, chapbooks, and artists' books. Come by and browse through our collection during gallery hours and send in your own work to share with others.
