Out of the Ground Into the Sky Out of the Sky Into the Ground is an exhibition showcasing the work of eight Los Angeles-based artists whose use of everyday materials investigates the relation between interiority vs. exteriority, surface vs. the concealed.

A collaborative working since 1997, Kopp Kordansky will present a new sculpture that explores mythic narrative and fantasy. They have exhibited nationally at such venues as: Thread Waxing Space in


New York and Cleveland Center of Contemporary Art. Upcoming projects include 'Kopp Kordansy, John Williams' at Hot Coco Lab in Venice, CA and a performance at ACME, Los Angeles.

Shirley Tse is a sculptor represented by Shoshona Wayne Gallery (Los Angeles) and Murray Guy (New York). She was included in SF MOMA's '010101: Art in Technological Times' and recently featured in 'First Take: New Art, New Artists (Ralph Rugoff, Artforum, 01/2001).
